Welcome

Facowee Farms is a brand new, private horse boarding facility. Our beautiful little town of Morganton is located in the North Georgia mountains. We are 2 hours north of Atlanta and 25 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge. We have 21.5 fenced in acres of secluded, level pastures with access to the Chattahoochee National Forest. Our farm offers you and your horse a peaceful, rural sanctuary.

Our barn has 10 roomy 12 x 12 stalls with rubber mats, individual fans, automatic fly spray system and shavings. There are two hot and cold wash bays, a heating element, restroom facilities, and a secure tack room. Be sure to GET LOST in our comfy, little chill spot where you can sit, relax, watch horses, read, rest, or rejuvenate. We have plenty of parking available for vehicles and trailers and even offer long term trailer parking. Best of all, the owners live on the property. Whether you're a disciplined competitor, new horse owner, or a lover of trail riding, all equestrians will love riding and boarding at Facowee Farms.

Roxanne Young

A little about me:

I have surrounded myself with horses pretty much my entire life. Honestly, I could not imagine my life without them in it.

I have been blessed to have been educated by world-class equestrian trainers to very well-rounded, genuine horse people. With 25 years of veterinary experience and many different riding disciplines, I feel honored to have this knowledge.

Owning a horse boarding facility like Facowee Farms has been a life long dream of mine. I am thrilled to have this opportunity to be able to share my knowledge and expertise, along with my love for horses to my boarders. Most of all, my goal is to provide the utmost care to my horses and the ones boarding at Facowee Farms.
